In all good consciousness, I could no longer remain on social media. I am now in the process of having my data removed from a slew of data brokers. I had to purchase a clean up service to accomplish this.
So I have deleted my only remaining social media account which was Facebook. I cancelled my Twitter account in December of 2020 when I saw what the site was being used for when the twice impeached seditious traitor (you know who) was screaming “Election Fraud” which was total bullshit.
I first joined Facebook fifteen years ago before it started getting swamped with advertising and the culture wasn’t as divided as it is now. In my opinion social media has helped stoke the country’s divide as the billionaires owning the sites are playing both sides of the field and refuse to tell the difference between what is right and wrong. Since then social media has become a cesspool of hatred and lies and I refuse to support it any longer.
I decided to do my own thing on my own site where I can establish my own rules and not be constrained to the restrictions of a third party company.
